The national Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) is convening it’s 72nd Annual Convention, July 27 – Aug 2, 2019 at the Harrahs Resort Atlantic City, 777 Harran’s Blvd, Atlantic City, NJ 08401. NAREB, the nation’s oldest, minority professional real estate trade association was founded in Tampa in 1947.
Our mission “Democracy in Housing” has been our motto for seventy years.
Our convention theme, “Building Black Wealth Through Homeownership” aptly conveys our mission to maintain constant vigilance and active advocacy as public policy is shaped and laws promulgated at local, county, state and federal levels
Realtists, financial services executives, government officials and Homeownership advocates from across the county will gather together at the convention to work to keep the American dream of homeownership on the nation’s front burner.
Our goal, as NAREB’s local chapter here in the Hampton Roads area is to increase home-ownership by educating Black Americans and,
the community-at-large about the current and long-term value of home-ownership, as opposed to renting.
We are anticipating a crowd with great enthusiasm from our community.
We are a local chapter of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (www.NAREB.com). It is the nation’s oldest,
professional minority real estate trade association, formed 72 years ago. Our local chapter, Hampton Roads Association of Real Estate Brokers,
is comprised of professionals in all areas related to real estate: residential/commercial agents, brokers, lenders,
appraisers, home inspectors, and so on.
Who are we?
